They didn't go up automatically, because they finished fourth - eight points behind the Champions.

Does anyone who went by the coaches remember the kick about a short distance away on the way there?. I feel sorry for the younger Albion fans who may possibly never experience an Albion north stand atmosphere like that 1st leg either.

I had completely forgotten about that...I assume we were held there on police advice and brought in at the last minute

Think that he went inside for about 6 weeks but I may be wrong it was a long time ago. Do remember the Millwall fans trying to start a fire in their stands. The first leg was played on Sunday with a lunch time kick off about 12 noon, I belive so the Millwall fans couldnt go into the pub before the game.
