I remember coming down to Brighton from East Grinstead with a couple of friends was just 17 at the time and walking past the hotel just the night before the bombing happened.

Should be an interesting prog to watch.

I was home alone in bed and heard what sounded like a car backfiring in the distance (I lived in mile oak at the time) when I went to look the next day I walked the full length of the beach from the lagoon and when I finally got to the beach opposite the Grand I could not believe my eyes a sight I will never forget.
