1970 world cup esso coins

Didn't get many of the coins but did buy the 1970 World Cup album and used to play it loads.....until we got knocked out, that is.

Then it just gathered dust for years as we didn't have the heart to chuck it out, but took it to a record shop 4 years ago with the old album collection.

Yep - got the esso coins laid out in a circle on a blue board somewhere - plus the white busts.

But nothing beat the stick on bullet holes for the rear windscreen.

I have two complete sets of the 1970 world cup Esso coins and one set of club badges of the Football League circa 1972. Can't bring myself to part with them

just checked E-bay and they are hardly worh a bean, only £5-10 ... ah well, I'll look again in another 20 years
