To think that a change in character would be a plus for appreciaters would be to forget the history of Bond and the unhappiness of "fans" who failed to embrace the snarling stone of Dalton and wish for a return to bland explosion and unchallenged photocopy.
I don't like the character or "genre", and would rather he died so people could believe he would and not know every film before it is released. Like shaking with glee at the thought of Die Hard 9 or Blazing Saddles 12. Surely people need a lasting filling rather than each month to have the same one battered clear and then identically replaced.

Funnily enough, Live and Let Die the film, was the only one, until now, not to feature either a Major boothroyd or Q character.
I personally think that the whole thing is a complete goatfuck and that Craig David is going to make a shit Bond.
