Unfortunately I don't think those that have chosen not to be vaccinated give a ****.
I'll defend the right of anyone to not take the vaccine, we live in a free society. But actions come with consequences. I never thought I'd say this, but I do think it's time for vaccine passports.
Look at the data. Look at the vaccination program. It's all going in the right direction. This virus is never going away, like flu never goes away. But we can live with it and we will do from June 21st onwards.
We will 100% get a 3rd wave in the Autumn/Winter. We will get waves every year from now on and thousands will die every year, get used to it. Covid is not going away, we need to live with it and manage it like flu.
You can lock yourself away for as long as you like. But the British public won’t put up with it much longer. Once the majority have been vaccinated then good luck getting people to adhere to any kind of social distancing. It’s going to be a long hot BBQ summer with the economy rocketing back...
She must be in the 15% :lolol:
She's good to go. Although she thinks the idea of getting all kids back at some point before end of July is bonkers and unworkable.
I don't know if its as clear cut as that. I'm a parent and my partner is an early years teacher.
On both the parents whatsapp group and the school teachers group the majority are in support of bringing the kids back on 1st June. The teachers group overwhelmingly so.
If he makes an announcement hinting any relaxation in lock down on a Thursday before a sunny bank holiday weekend what will the result be?
Much more sensible to do it on a Sunday PM. But you knew that anyway.
That Prof John Newton fella didn’t hide this fact though. He went through the breakdown of the numbers and confirmed this was the way it’s always been counted.
