    [Albion] Lewis Carl Dunk

One club man he said. I expect he’ll stick that. His best years may be behind him, but he’s not suddenly rubbish, so I doubt we’d entertain offers. Still has plenty to offer for us. If United do want an experienced centre back I’d think they’d try to find a player with trophy winning or European...

Tony says on official podcast that Matt’s operation is done, it was successful, and looking forward to seeing him back in the latter part of the year.

[Albion] Jan Paul van Hecke - contracted to June 2027

I remember a game a few seasons back, maybe 18 months, against Newcastle where the opposition were marking Dunk when we were trying to play out from the back in order to force possession & passing onto Van Hecke because he looked pretty nervous & unsure what to do with the ball. They were happy...

[Albion] Rate Albion’s Summer 2024/25 transfer window

is that accurate? Based on reported fees we paid; Wieffer £25m Minteh £30-33m Yalcouye £6m Osman £16m (but that’s in last years account I would assume) ACD free Kadioglu £25-30m Gruda £25m O’Riley £25-30m Rutter £40m And then sold Undav £25-30m Gross £8-10m Gilmour £10-15m & a few youngsters...

    [Albion] Yasin Ayari

From last week, but he seems to be enjoying himself. Nice to hear such positivity. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/clyg48d2jdwo

    [Albion] That’ll do nicely!

For me anything top 10 would be brilliant. New manager, new players, new tactics, anything could happen so I’d see top 10 as a very successful season.

    [Albion] Yasin Ayari

Not every player is going to start games, we need a few that are happy to largely be bench players & then fill in where needed. He’ll do nicely in that role, & will be better player for it being amongst the first team for a full season.

    [Albion] Getting opponents sent off

We got them sent off? Surely they got themselves sent off.

[Albion] You're the ref: Veltman v Rice

Rice knew exactly what he was doing. He was looking right at Veltman & where the ball was, casually walking in front of the free kick & nudging the ball away. He may not have booted the ball away in an obvious way, but he was very much delaying the free kick in a way he thought would go...

[Albion] You're the ref: Veltman v Rice

Maybe soft to second yellow Rice but absolutely zero sympathy for him. He was rolling around on the floor in “agony” trying to get Veltman sent off. So karma really..

[Albion] Rate Albion’s Summer 2024/25 transfer window

Our biggest strength this year will be the ability to play those 4, and then sub on some/all of Welbeck, Minteh, Rutter, March, or Enciso. Not many clubs have that. We can overpower teams in those final 10/20 minutes.

[Albion] Napoli interested in Billy Gilmour **Sold 30/08/24**

Would have loved him to stay, but having Wieffer, Milner, Baleba, Moder, and Ayari as options for those 2 positions is fine. Then in january it looks like we'll have Gomez, and maybe even O'Riley back.

    [Albion] Jakub Moder

Moder looked decent in the minutes he got at the Euros.

[Albion] Napoli interested in Billy Gilmour **Sold 30/08/24**

Don’t like to see him go, but I guess this is the point. It’s not like we’re actually short of players. & Gomez in January.

    [Albion] Sarmiento

When is his contract up with us?

[Albion] Napoli interested in Billy Gilmour **Sold 30/08/24**

It’s going down! Wasn’t it 17/18m euros last we heard?

[Albion] Napoli interested in Billy Gilmour **Sold 30/08/24**

Why would we rule out a deal yesterday & today change our minds? Unless Napoli are suddenly offering silly money, which I doubt they are.

    [Albion] Matt O Riley [26/08/24 - sings on a 5-year deal]

How can it be off if no agreement was in place? It was never on… Maybe Napoli just never met our valuation.
