The perfect job for GP imo. If they thought Bielsa was the Messiah, match made in heaven…no history lessons required if their fans boo a result either.
With backing he’d do very well there. I’d like him to have to do it from the Championship though
Glenn Murray calling out Kane’s reaction on not being touched and getting Antonio booked on the BBC site. Marginally less likeable player than Martinez at Villa…just.
VAR could soon sort that out…you’d think…maybe not
If it’s an obvious and genuine injury, ref just waits until the physio has checked the player over. If it’s simulation, player gets a red card. Is that too simplistic? VAR check on every head injury, they all take 3-5 mins don’t they anyway, so...
I was suggesting similar yesterday. Head injuries take a minute or two anyway so VAR should check them whilst the player is being treated. If there was no head contact or something obviously innocuous, like a slight backhander that brushes the hair and the player goes down feigning as something...
Very early in the game Caicedo made a hard but fair challenge and came away with ball and the ref gave Fulham a free kick. Caicedo was so pissed off about it that I thought he’d get booked.
I was calling the ref out from very early in the game when we were looking dangerous. The ref was not...
I’ll take whatever happens as long as we don’t cheat like Fulham and Villa. How refs keep getting taken in by blatant cheating astounds me. Delighted we are not like that.
I think all head injuries should go to VAR for a check on what happened, simulation should be a red card
Mugged
Once again a terrible game from a ref taken in by a team of schooled cheats and timewasters
BUT, no excuses, our final ball and finishing was abysmal, Potterball revisited
