Could you point to some evidence to confirm this please? I may be wrong, but i'm not aware of any incidents of this. Some clubs have been punished for persistently standing in the AISLES.

I'm talking about the entire North Stand, so that's about 2,500 people. The majority of the people in there would stand all game if given their choice. And for the remaining 20,000 in the ground, i bet the majority of these people would also prefer an all-standing North Stand... it's not much...

The queues are generally gone by 30 mins going that way. Don't mistake a queuing for being held back... sometimes you get to the station and the platform is empty with people being held back, who are then let onto the platform... what i'm trying to say is that you'll get on the next train coming...

This game will sell out, easily. I presume Newcastle will bring 3,000 in the away end plus more in the home bits (once tickets go on general sale), and we'll shift the rest - loads of occasionals will fill the seats of any ST holders not going. I know loads of people, who don't go every match...

So what you want is basically the best possible seats, right in the middle at the back of the away section, and for everybody else to sit quietly and silently so your son gets a completely unobstructed view of the game? Can you really not see that you're being selfish. Have you actually asked...
