STH only poll. Are you going Saturday?

Well it's a Brighton & Hove Albion home game so yes, obviously, as a fan i'm going to the game.

    Newcastle ticket sales set for....oh

Erm... tickets are £28 which INCLUDES the travel voucher. Return fair from, say, Shoreham to Falmer is about £5 so knock that off the ticket price. If you can't afford to come then that's fine. But if you're using the pricing as your excuse, because you just can't be bothered or you'd rather...

    Newcastle ticket sales set for....oh

It's all very strange isn't it. I know i'm hugely looking forward to Saturday, as are the group of 9 people that i go with (all season tickets holders, and all more than happy to find £34 for our West Upper seats for what promises to be one of the biggest games of the past 20 years). See you there.

    Newcastle ticket sales set for....oh

The tickets are the NORMAL price. No price rises, no reductions. It might sell out, it might not, but it's been fairly embarrassing observing the amount of people complaining about the prices... it's on TV... early kick off... etc etc... and saying they can't be bothered. What exactly were you...

for saftey why don't the club hold troublesome away support behind after matches

I agree. I like the fact that we're a pretty friendly bunch and i wouldn't want to start holding back away fans every week, but for both Millwall and Palace they should 100% be held back out of respect for the home fans. Having to stand next to somebody abusing you and goading you and shoving...

Poyet Wants To Spend Big on a Striker

It'll be someone who's currently warming the bench somewhere in the championship. We all know this.

Enforced sitting in the North stand tomorrow

Could you highlight some examples of this please?

Enforced sitting in the North stand tomorrow

Really? I don't believe this for a second... people stand at most large grounds in the country now, yet i have never heard of the FA dishing out fines or even educed allocations. It simply doesn't happen. Next time you watch match of the day, have a look behind the goals and you'll see entire...

    Standing in the North Stand

Could you point to some evidence to confirm this please? I may be wrong, but i'm not aware of any incidents of this. Some clubs have been punished for persistently standing in the AISLES.

    Standing in the North Stand

I'm talking about the entire North Stand, so that's about 2,500 people. The majority of the people in there would stand all game if given their choice. And for the remaining 20,000 in the ground, i bet the majority of these people would also prefer an all-standing North Stand... it's not much...

    Standing in the North Stand

It'll be the beginning of the end for me, if they try and impose seating throughout the North. EVERY large ground in the UK has areas where standing is allowed... this is the sensible, and safe, approach. Plus it helps massively with the atmosphere. Do we have the most authoritarian club in...

    Train queues heading east

The queues are generally gone by 30 mins going that way. Don't mistake a queuing for being held back... sometimes you get to the station and the platform is empty with people being held back, who are then let onto the platform... what i'm trying to say is that you'll get on the next train coming...

    Newcastle Tickets

Will definitely sell out. It'll be the largest crowd this season until the new seats open (as most people will actually turn up!) and will create record gate receipts for the club.

The 'Will you be going to the Newcastle Cup game?' poll

This game will sell out, easily. I presume Newcastle will bring 3,000 in the away end plus more in the home bits (once tickets go on general sale), and we'll shift the rest - loads of occasionals will fill the seats of any ST holders not going. I know loads of people, who don't go every match...

Safe Standing at the AMEX: Yes or No?

So what you want is basically the best possible seats, right in the middle at the back of the away section, and for everybody else to sit quietly and silently so your son gets a completely unobstructed view of the game? Can you really not see that you're being selfish. Have you actually asked...

Safe Standing at the AMEX: Yes or No?

Maybe don't be so selfish. You could take him along and sit down the front and let the standers stand and everyone is a winner.
