I struggle to believe his stewards quitting numbers as the majority of stewards in my area of the NS have been the same all season - I beleive he is quoting numbers covering the whole of the stadium but making it seem it all the NS fans fault.
Its actually the perfect time for an injury in some ways as he has 10 days to get it sorted out, hopefully its more of a precaution rather than a full blown injury
Maybe if you have a think about it, the whole ground was singing better than probably ever, is it a surprise that you cannot hear other stands singing if there is a noise from your own stand. Watching the extended highlights last night proved the NS was loud IMO.
