That was actually before he scored at the Millennium Stadium. Are you sure you've got your timeline right? I'm assuming you're talking about the guy who came on here claiming to be Leon Knight but wouldn't pose with a sign saying "I'm x on NSC".
Not necessarily. If you'd drawn the match 0-0 instead, your goal average would have been unchanged and therefore slightly inferior to the GA improved by the 2-3 defeat.
This troubled me somewhat as it had me questioning my memory. I'm 60 and have noticed the years rolling by increasingly quickly over the last generation but I was pretty stunned to realise this process had accelerated to the extent that the event that I remember actually happened two years ago...
Not sure what you're saying there but take this example: You've conceded twice as many as you've scored but then go and lose 2-3.The revised ratio is slightly improved whereas if you had lost 2-4, it would be unchanged.
I've just listened to the report on PM from a journalist who's been there all day and actually went out on one of the search sorties, but he mentioned nothing about floating objects.
That's reminiscent of Munich '58.
They don't use "all reyt" down there!

Eastbourne Town have 'Ultras'?
I turned up at Woodside Road, Worthing for an Athenian League match (I think) in the mid 1970s against Eastbourne, only to be greeted with a sign saying the match had been postponed because the visitors couldn't raise a team. Might have been Eastbourne United...
I've always thought the whole honorary degree thing is a load of nonsense, whether that be for Bob Geldof or whoever. It's akin to awarding an honorary HGV licence to somebody who cannot drive, then saying you can't actually use it.
