Chinese football money - effect on BHA?

I said public watching, it didn't change what we did as the public, I think the clue was in the post.

1973 Chelsea Cup tie - were you there ?

That's what I mean, Brighton have been shit for many years, so what if Chelsea were too, happens to everyone.

Lingard new contract £95000 per week

Interesting about what club you play for. Would Lewis Dunk be in the England side by now if he was playing for a 'big' club? Almost certainly.

Who do you consider Brighton's biggest rival for second spot? part 2

I doubt the players are even bothered to be honest, they may have breezed over the results but nothing more. Pro's have a different outlook and other than possibly Dunky and March probably don't even support Brighton, but see themselves as winners and therefore whatever has happened in the...

1973 Chelsea Cup tie - were you there ?

They were a really good Div 1 side when I first saw them, I think I was about 4!!! 1967, ended up in the Cup Final v Spurs with a legendary team including Ossy, Chopper, Webb, Houseman, etc. I remember sitting in the West on the wooden benches. Good days.

You said it 'let's us down' so yes it can be construed.

1973 Chelsea Cup tie - were you there ?

I have a confession. My first two ever league footy visits were at Stamford Bridge. I was actually supporting Chelsea at the Goldstone. But having moved to EP and taking in my first Brighton game as a 9 year old I was totally changed on the spot to Brighton. I went to the Goldstone regularly...

    Leeds v Derby

But the table doesn't lie, we can only play as well and beat who is put in front of us. If our central midfield is poor form this season, I look forward to many poor form seasons.

Now you mention it, my mum would never have let me go to football on a school night.

The player that got me loving football, Ossy I mean. What a player.

    Leeds v Derby

But we defend from the top, our midfield line, whoever is playing is solid, we have lost twice this season and conceded the least, that isn't just down to our back line, I still don't get it, sorry.

I'm sure you're a decent type chappy Sir, but that post is just barking mad.

1973 Chelsea Cup tie - were you there ?

I went to the game in the back of a Transit van with about 10 others, I was only 9. They all shoved me to the front when we were standing in the north west. But I am so confused because I could have sworn the lights were on and Chelsea were in yellow. Oh shit I'm getting old.

    Leeds v Derby

Well, I'll give you that, but there are rumours and outright stupidity. How on earth can anyone claim... Seriously? Is it a 'look at me' post?

    Leeds v Derby

Actually the more I think of this the more I wonder what you are watching. You say our wingers are good, they are midfielders. So that means you aren't confident with our central midfield. Can I remind you we have lost 7 times home and away in the past 72 or so? Can I also remind you we have...

    Leeds v Derby

Huh? Stephens, Norwood, Sidwell, Knocky, Murphy, Skalak, March are a let down? And we've lost one away game.

Chinese football money - effect on BHA?

Chinese football has less than zero chance of competing with any European league. The most saturated area in the world of people watching football is Europe. Yes Asia is a growing market, but they support European leagues. China will not, in my lifetime (I'm 52) have any sort of impact...
