Crawley town centre is a shit hole, wholeheartedly agree, however some of the outlying (ex) villages are as nice as anywhere else. And as the biggest town in West Sussex I see no reason why they shouldn't apply for it, given its proximity to an international airport amongst other things.
But it isn't the sign of things to come is it? We have 23k season ticket holders, that won't change much next season. Pretty much it'll be the same bunch of fans whatever happens.
Apparently every club that has had 55 points or more after 26 have gone on to get promotion to the Prem. So there's a kiss of death!
