... as was the checking of that post :)

[Albion] Adam Webster *** Signed on 4 year deal ***

The post stated the 'highest valued' as you repeat, not 'largest sale', unless you are saying that Dunk is worth no more than a quarter of Maguire's cost.

Don't be ridiculous, Dunk was born in Brighton. I can't believe nobody has pointed that out in well over an hour.

Your OP specified TV schedules so why don't you answer the questions on this thread and tell us WTF you're on about??

[Football] No surprise from the BBC.

He can't mean that because that was the situation a year ago! Maybe he's talking about his local BBC region?

Oh. Locks. You do have to complicate things, don't you!

    [News] Whaley Bridge.

Why would a canal need a water supply? The only way water can be lost is through evaporation, and I imagine that would be replaced by precipitation directly into the canal. We need that expert back!

    [News] Whaley Bridge.

I thought that too, but was a bit surprised that no mention was made of the clay soil construction that a TV reporter mentioned. A quick search reveals that this is the obsolete practice of poodling, which I thought was the term for tarting up any breed of dog for a show....

[Football] Another exciting season kicks off in Scotland

Actually it was comparatively interesting last year because quite well into the season Aberdeen, Kilmarnock and even Livingston looked like they might be capable of putting in a serious challenge. Let's not forget that in our own League, the top 2 finished 25 & 26 points ahead of the 3rd placed...

[Football] Have Bournemouth hit the right targets?

So was Lyon's commitment even worse or did they just field a weak or experimental team? P. S. I've always loved red and black stripes but haven't dared to say so on here until now :)

    [TV] Joe Longthorne RIP

I think he had at least two major bouts, and I've just found this undated piece, which I think was from Spring of this year. Seems like some people are just much more prone to cancer than others. Will be of particularly sad news to the gay community thronging Brighton this afternoon. NEWS...

[Albion] Knockaert joins Fulham on initial one-year loan

His speed (along with his enthusiasm)were just about the only things I didn't have a problem with last season.

[Football] Have Bournemouth hit the right targets?

Just been watching the closing stages of the friendly against Lyons with foreign commentary, only intelligible by the occasional insertion of words like 'Cherries'. Anyway, said Cherries were leading 3-0 when the stream collapsed which is a tad surprising, because it doesn't look as though a...

[Albion] Knockaert joins Fulham on initial one-year loan

Fulham have been trailing 1-0 for ages at Barnsley and AK only just brought on.

Yes, I'm sure I read pounds too, but sounds like the discrepancy came about because somebody reported a Euro sign as a pound sign :dunce:
