Nowadays, these odds are really decided by the millions betting abroad, particularly in Asia. They'll have seen a live feed and noted our domination, combining it with those three fluffed 2nd half chances that fell to Maupay and Trossard which should really have produced at least two more goals.
I'd agree with that if he'd had a go when somebody else was in a better position. It must have been nerves, I suppose he's not used to playing in front of 30,000 expectant fans.
WTF was up with him today? Two golden opportunities fluffed. He's the last player I would have thought could do that, twice in how many minutes?
Seems like the ideal place for a murder - no digging required to dispose of the body.
Not saying this latest death was murder mind you.... https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/man-who-died-falling-overboard-18945007.amp
I've never been cruising, although I hope we will be cruising to 3...
But that stand is too long to be an end. Surely the idea was to demolish the open terrace and double the size of the kop?
I was no Leeds fan either but they were all household names in the early 1970s, along with Chelsea's glamour team. In fact I can reel off all those first names apart from...
Dutch stream suddenly switched to a preview program part way through the second half. Never known it do that before and now I'm dreading it doing it again during the West Ham game!
No it wasn't raining if you mean the League Cup tie. I know the ground was dry because I ended up having to sleep rough. Bozza used to work in Bristol, so has probably been to other games (maybe with odd-shaped balls) :)
Not to mention those on the other side complaining Chris was sacked with indecent haste. Has anybody thought that Mr Bloom might have done that anyway, so making him available for a possible approach from Newcastle?
I went to school in Bath, so know the city well. I always went by train, but was NEVER able to do so without changing at Fratton. From there it was direct though; did your train stop at tiddly Dilton Marsh? In the 1970s it was just a wooden platform long enough for one carriage.
I'll bet you...
For most businesses yes, but I don't think the 'shrug' attitude
is applicable in our case because any shortfall in the forecast can easily be filled by another (relatively tiny) loan from Mr Bloom's vast fortune.
Probably, because I used to listen to Peeley's 10 p.m. show. It's not exactly memorable for its catchy tune though, is it :)
Was it actually released as a single?
