Hasn't passed me by but just heard Catfish and the Bottlemen and they sound rather good. I 'found' U2 in 1980 so I usually have a good feeling about bands, these sound good and have personality.
I think you pretty much answered your own question. People are rightly concerned that May is jumping into bed with terrorist sympathisers. People were rightly concerned about Corbyn's stance. Sadly we have a House of Commons that is full of corrupt weasels vying for power in whatever way they...
I was a gullible 18 year old and voted Thatcher in 1983, on that basis no. However, as gullible as you may be at 18 you are seen as a grown up and therefore should have the right to vote.
I'm more concerned that I am up at this time of a Saturday morning and on my second cuppa!
But you were stating the bleedin obvious
DUP were the extreme wing of the UUP that decided the UUP were not strong enough. They, obviously got the support of the UVF, or whatever incarnation they were in the 70s, and so it began.
I can't link you anywhere, but the links between the UVF and the DUP are deep. You need to search individuals from the 60s and 70s that were part of the DUP.
The Tories grabbing on to power at all means and sucking up to terrorist wings was not my idea of Utopia. It just shows how far these people will go to stay in charge. Can say what you like about Corbyn (not a supporter) but (I assume) he hasn't gone begging for Sinn Fienns 7 votes to give him...
No you couldn't make it up. The Tories cosy up with the political wing of a terrorist organisation, well played down by the Brits during the IRA problems, because they used the UVF to do their dirty work, and now that said organisation has a say in our politics? This will alienate the Catholics...
No choice? So any scruples they may have had now go out of the window to take ten votes from the DUP? They really are selling their soul. First they show arrogance, complacency and total disregard for the British public, and in order to hold on to power they cosy up with the political wing of a...
I do get the feeling that social media momentum will hound the Tories for sucking up to a political wing of terrorists, it may only take days, maybe weeks. But when it does, the Tories will be isolated.
