[Other Sport] British Boxing plunges to new depths

It's because they're eager to know the depth their disliked sport has plumbed. Obviously.

[Albion] Where is Moises going? (Chelsea - 14/08/2023)

I think he would. The later a satisfactory offer is made, the more game time we'll have got out of Moises.

[Football] Football Returns Tonight @ 8pm!

Also Worthing and Eastbourne Borough kick off the season at home today. Technically you are correct in that it is the first qualifying round but the First Qualifying Round is a couple of rounds away. As usual in this preliminary round there are several clubs I've never heard of, some playing...

    [Albion] Albion tour in USA

Yeah, how shocking it would be for Ponch to play Colwill, even though everyone knows how eager he is to assess him against PL opposition. . And what an inappropriate match to demonstrate to Chelsea that Moises is worth £100m.

[Albion] Signed Albion Shirts Available in Auction of Promises for Cancer Warrior Teddy, 4

I've just zoomed in on the other shirt and am dismayed to find they are all like that. When I collected Albion autographs in the late 1960s/early 1970s, they were actually legible! I was going to put 'it's as if Moises doesn't know his surname", but on reflection that has some truth to it...

[Football] The new United FC, or Gary Nevill………

I think more people would be struggling with the thread title, which is trying to refer to FC United of Manchester.

[Albion] Where is Moises going? (Chelsea - 14/08/2023)

12% chance equates to 7-1 against us finishing top 4; the first market I looked at had us at 9-2.

[Misc] Flag hinges and upvc door frames

I'm thinking of buying and fitting a second-hand unit myself, and thought that the trickiest part would be getting it precisely square. All the ads I've looked at have had the door intact within the frame, so I was wondering whether I would have to dismantle this particular frame to fit it in...

    [Albion] Kaoru Mitoma original painting

So this artist is obliged to give away half her earnings because it's not a self-portrait? That's a bit rich coming from someone who's ripped off a photographer's work for their avator without the slightest thought of any commission. Just a thought...

This is the sort of answer I was seeking. I suppose I should really have asked if rimless ones flush as well as the traditional. Anyway, Google now thinks I have a particular interest in public toilets...

    [News] Missing submersible.

And the bizarre thing about that is the theory that beached whales die simply because their organs aren't supported by buoyancy (I think - would be glad to be corrected). But how can they avoid the bends when resufacing from such depths? They must be holding their breath because they are mammals.

There's an impressive amount of detail on that painting. Can I actually see contact lenses in place?!
