I'll never get used to phone life, it leaves me quite gobsmacked, it really does, I shake my head every morning and evening and the bits in between, and I'm a web developer.
I travel from Three Bridges to Shepherd's Bush every morning and evening, 80% of people are on their phones, many probably doing social media, the others pretending to be on the phone and telling people how important their lives are. I'm losing the will to live.
I do drop in to see what is going on, read what my 'friends' and mates have to say in their lives.
I will never understand why people put their personal lives online by the way, the 'what's up hun' sh!t does my t!ts in.
But now we have targeted advertising and so many people putting up inane...
Mate is a great get out when you forget a name, but I call everyone mate, except girlies and I hate it when they say mate (whole new story), it happens, don't get upset mate.
Edit: I have more time for people calling me mate when they knock me sideways in a rush hour train than some woman that...
I gave up on Seagulls TV about 4 years ago. It was generally my only source for live games I couldn't get to when I lived in London. The service out of 10 would have warranted a 0.5. In this day and age of fast link ups it is just totally unacceptable. Not enough bandwidth and servers that don't...
