    Southern Rail STRIKE details

Looking back I did a few pretty stupid things in my teenage years opening the door as the train came into the platform and jumping off while the train was still moving and a few times at Victoria coming back from away games opening the door and jumping on after the train had started to move...

Away Ticket Prices v Ipswich and Sheff Wed

But for a Brentford fan coming by train, even if they buy their ticket now they will save £4.60 with a return to Haywards Heath rather than getting a return to Falmer - so their match ticket is therefore £25.40. The saving for a ticket bought 8 weeks ago would be a lot more, it is possible for...

Away Ticket Prices v Ipswich and Sheff Wed

Although the cheapest way to travel to away games for us by train is usually to buy separate tickets from Sussex to London and then London to the away town/city. For away fans coming to us you can get an advance single to Haywards Heath from Victoria for £5 so a total of £10 on a Saturday the...

Away Ticket Prices v Ipswich and Sheff Wed

People forget about the travel subsidy, if SW included the return tram fare in their ticket price then that would be more comparable.

London City Airport Runway Shut By Black Lives Matter....

Is this not a bit of a worry that they were able to get onto a runway so easily, still I suppose it better for them than a terrorist with a gun shooting at a plane taking off or landing. Living on £20,000 a year they say - that's £10.26 a hour, bit higher than the living wage, although if that...

Sussex Sunday League all time low?

Part I would guess is a shortage of kids coming through as they spend their lives playing football with their fingers in their bedrooms and parents can be bothered to take their kids

Good to see tax payers money being used wisely again - the case of the pink beret

Tbf it was his families team. I'm sure there are Brighton fans living in Surrey who support us rather than them due to family influences.

    New cars

I'm on my 4th new Mazda 3. I get them on lease purchase over 3 years. I trade them in after 1.5 to 2.5 years for another new one. Pay a constant monthly charge so even when I get the next new one I still pay more or less the same. Best thing I have done with cars as I found second hand ones...

I can remember have to queue half way up Western Road to get into Grease. The only film I ever had to queue for.

Dale Stephens Summer 2016 shenanigans (Merged Thread)

16.15 on 10.09.16 Stephens scores in front of the NS slides on his knees kissing his badge, everything's forgotten and we can all go back to cheering on the best team I have ever seen in the stripes.

    strikers who are free agents

I never have got threads starting "insert player name here" they should play for us based on nothing more than the fact that he is a footballer. Do posters really think somebody at the club would read NSC spot the thread and say "bloody hell that's a good idea, oi Winstanley get on the blower to...

    The US Open tennis 2016

Although apparently Court 13 is miles from anywhere (not that you would believe it being in the shadows of the Arthur Ashe) and the likes of those players would never be forced to go there. I was really surprised there was no medical crew on hand close by for an emergency.
