Simply because I had no idea of her name?

Because I find the woman on Sky irritating and about as knowledgeable as Ron the manager.

Why say sorry? Welcome to your view. My view obviously differs and I still stand by what I say.

There are many male presenters to have objections over, it's a little heavy sided. But it is men playing football and the pundits should be/are men.

    [TV] Bra's in the 70s

Well, Mike, and sorry I couldn't do a 5th round thread, but that's another time, I only noticed when I started watching the Sweeney and the Professionals again on our ITV3 that the girls were never wearing bra's. And I tried hard to remember my 1970s. But it seems on the tellybox they never did...

You're not very good at this are you.

Hit and miss for sure, but at least they were playing at that level.

Which is why I asked if we are allowed to dispute the point in a liberal society. Watching a woman pundit on Prem games means as much to me as my cat meowing for food. The standard she played at was about the level of Sussex County League Three (as was)... I don't want her views.

    [TV] Bra's in the 70s

I have no idea what channel is on, paying little attention but it's an old Emmerdale, probably late 70s. I love watching the old re-runs of 70s stuff, Sweeney, Professionals, etc. But whenever I watch them you look at the ladies and they seem to never wear bra's? I was 15 coming out of the 70s...

[Albion] Player ratings Vs West Brom (H)

To be fair, Dunky's England debut he was much the same on the ball, just passing sideways ... I think it's a first appearance thing.

He certainly had a good game. FA Cup v Championship oppo, he's used to that playing for Wigan. But definitely under control on the ball, well timed tackles and showing he can pass the ball out, not bad for someone of his height. Reminds me a bit of Peter Crouch on the opposite end of the pitch...

As is my take on women doing punditry on mens football. Personally I like pundits that have been there and done it, otherwise you could literally put anyone in that seat that has had a kickabout on the local rec.

I find that a very fair point. I bet when she played v Man Utd and Roy Keane she knew all about his notoriety and skill, just an example obviously.

Yeah I do, see after the first sentence. Is that not allowed in our liberal society?

Perhaps you missed the opening sentence.

    Hove born&bred

I see the other thread moved here the other day started by HB&B with another moniker has been removed. People were under the impression it takes time and, more importantly, money to change his status, when in fact it takes about 3 mins tops to change it with no money involved. I don't know who...

    [Football] MOTD

I don't have a problem with women commentators and presenters on mens footy. I do have a problem with them being pundits. The girl on Sky seems to do every game now and it does my fat manly tits in. It isn't about knowledge or anything, it is because she is a woman. By all means pundit womens...
