He was mentioned on one of the other threads... but the general consensus among us fans wasn't positive. Think he could have been a sensible signing last season when we were new to the league, especially as Goldson wasn't available at the time.
If we hadn't have got Balogun in, then I would have agreed that the versatility that Tomori would have brought would have made him a good option to have on the bench. If the club are going to bring in a loan player, then he needs be better or offer something different to what we already have.
1. We will break our transfer record for highest transfer fee spent on a player
2. We will still be one of the clubs most pundits tips for relegation / to suffer second season syndrome.
3. Arsenal will finish the season mid-table.
He would have made for a solid signing last season with Goldson out and us new to the league, but I think we could and can do a lot better this season. Ideally what we need to replace the BFG is a central defender that is left footed and can compliment the strengths of Duffy and Goldson. Given...
Martin Skrtel is also on their shopping list. One the Rangers supporters run news sites is reporting that it's already a done deal, and is set to be announced tomorrow...

Maybe...
Dutch press are linking Jaap Staam to the vacancy. If that happens it'll see Readings last sacked manager at Swansea, and their last one at Reading.
Carlos was only on a contract until end of the season.
They said that they also want a manager with Premier League and European success... to me that sounds a lot like Claudio Ranieri who has left Nantes today. Tempted to put a cheeky bet on him.
From what I've seen of him he looks useful. There was a report on HITC (yeah, I know they don't get much right) earlier this week linking him with West Ham, so wouldn't be that much of a surprise if he ended up on these shores.
If the option is between him and keeping Hemed, then I'd always choose the latter. In no way is Bamford the striker we should be setting our sights on. Wouldn't even be happy with him as our fourth striker option.
As we've done a couple of deals with PSV recently, then it wouldn't surprise if the idea of playing them at some point has been mooted and I wouldn't be disappointed with a trip there.
My fingers are crossed for Napoli being the big home friendly.
If we're short on home grown numbers then I'll rather we went after quality, young players from the Championship who missed out on promotion with their current club.
Saying that Joe Allen from Stoke or Tom Carroll from Swansea could be good additions for CM.
No... but we did put in a request asking if our first Prem game could be played at home though.

Assuming our current alternative kit is going to become our third kit, I really can't see them opting for another yellow kit. Given the amount of clubs who have red homekites I also hope we avoid reviving a red and black striped number.
The Asian cup is scheduled to run from the 1st January to the 2nd February. Given that Australia are one of the favourites, he's likely to be away for the duration and also a couple of weeks prior with the national team so would miss our Christmas and New Year games also, so likely hood is he'll...
CM - Leander Dendoncker from Andelecht (if we don't get Delaney)
RW - Gastón Pereiro from PSV
AM - Zakaria Labyad from Utrecht
CB - Joe Worrall from Nottingham Forrest
FW - Michael Gregoritsch from Augsburg
