It is. Same way we do every year pretty much (wife’s family have roots up there). - multiple days at the beach - the kids love it (a good book, a scotch pie, some boules will do plenty of hours if the weather is decent) - visit Alnwick for the day (barter books etc) - maybe do Bamburgh castle...

Agreed - I would prefer less, but higher quality signings. A top top DM and a top top AM would make a big difference. (Replacing Caicedo and Mac, basically).
