Mears takes it to a different level. With Bear it's about meshing techniques more akin to 'I'm a Celebrity' with s survival countdown clock. E.g. "I have 24 hours to survive on a beach, here's how you can get water from fish piss".
Mears is about achieving a balance with survival where you...
His relationship with the bank in question is propped up due to being the President, the recent change in position by the bank did seem more than coincidental. His big fear, as has been alluded to by others, is that his financial situation is fully revealed.
He can stand, but I can't see any Republican backing this. At best he'd try as an independent but you don't want to go in as a one-term President. Plus his age would really move against him. Perhaps, more scarily, one of his kids might. The stories were that Ivanka was the one he had ambitions...
An aspect to all of this is that the assumption is vote Trump = like Trump. It's somewhat of an easy angle on it given that it is a Presidential election (where the focus is placed on voting for an individual) and also that he does have ardent supporters. However, there are those who have voted...
Very interesting Guardian podcast on those voting for Trump. Some interesting insights

The podcast is called Today in Focus in case you need it.
Does anyone know if supermarkets etc are doing large pumpkins? Picked up a couple last weekend and rhe selection was pretty underwhelming. Even the ones marked 'large' were undersized and often on the turn.
Just to give context I carve for friends and family each year and need a couple decent...
Well, I've recorded a podcast about ghosts and the like in ancient Greece and Rome which I'll be releasing. I also carve pumpkins in the fashion of Greek Vases, still need to work out the design for this year.
It takes all types I suppose..
something I've been hearing a bit is how it's not about Trump voters voting for Trump, it's those who won't vote for the Democrats. There are those who don't like Trump at all (including many Republicans) but who don't see much appeal with Biden.
What hasn't helped has been the riots which are...
It's a good example of how important content is. A lot of podcasters focus on the audio quality etc, however good content is the key. As a podcaster I always cite this one as a great example. It's not that the audio is bad (it isn't) but you can tell the presenter has her content well...
Wizard and the Bruiser is good for pop culture, films, comic characters etc.
Last Podcast on the Left. Some unusual subjects, the serial killer series is as gruesome as it is interesting.
History of the Crusades. Explanatory.
History in the Bible. Very interesting, takes the topic from an...
Very well put. The link with his Christian base is faltering, they expected stronger returns in terms of Supreme Court decisions which haven't been what they wanted. In fairness Trump doesn't make these but he was a hope that their agenda would be more fully applied.
I think there's a portion of his support who don't like him tweeting as much as he does. One US politics podcast I listen to is from the Republican view and they are occasionally tearing their hair out at what he tweets.
The "he's trolling the libs" line is running thin as well. His side want...
Will be interesting how this plays out to his base, they are inherently about snall govt and don't approve of federal involvement over the rights of states. Even Fox are starting to wane on him.
This got me thinking about when I've seen Brighton play the Clarets. My earliest memory was losing on Boxing Day and a full back scoring a long range goal. Checked it out and it was 26th December 1992. You beat us 3-0 with Nogan scoring twice and Crumplin presumably the full back with the goal...
It's more than possible. If that did happen I'd be intrigued to see if he dumped those he had no reason to need anymore (e.g. Conservative right). It could get very random.
He's not required to stand down or accept the result thankfully! As soon as his term is over he loses any constitutional power or authority so he'll be forcibly removed.
It certainly would have been interesting with regards to the blue collar worker. How Bernie interacted with the young vote is not as much of bonus as it's claimed. True, more young people preferred him but this was amongst a smalk voter base. In the nominee contest the under 30 vote never...
Thanks for clarifying. I think there's been some confusion over what I was getting at.
The Democratic Party incorporates a range of viewpoints, some more to the left than others. In the recent period there's been more of a split developing and this has caused problems. Think Bernie v Hilary...
Unsure if the point about healthcare relates to me? For the record I agree with you.
There is a fair amount of division on the left though with the more extreme elements turning on the more central. It's been a continual problem for the democrats in recent years. Just look how the contenders...
