Is the Lewes-Brighton shuttle running on Saturday, if not I would anticipate Lewes station to be carnage before the game with through trains being mostly full already when the arrive at Lewes
20 years ago we were playing in a little ground against Portsmouth and Gillingham with names like Rogers and Jones on the pitch and now we are playing teams we cannot pronounce with players with made up names
Never seen it advertised that the were no trains to London, you don't need to go to Brighton to get to London from Eastbourne. And besides the person who sold him the ticket should have know that surely.
Edit: there is a service from Eastbourne to Gatwick showing on the planner
What, a Brighton fan who doesn't have these dates blacked out on every calendar and moved the corresponding Saturday fixture to Sunday (or Monday)
one of my top 10 Amex goals is the one where we break from a corner at the north end and Bobby is there to slot the ball home at the south end after running the whole length of the pitch.
