Was about to make a thread about this but then saw the statement was in here.
It's comical how he talked about a friendly rivalry and that they are not intending to be malicious...then goes and starts attacking Albion about how they are treated.
Pot kettle if you ask me.

Didn't something VERY similar to this happen to one of our very own NSCer's ???
Portsmouth played AC Milan in the UEFA Cup.
Whilst Micky Adams' Brighton & Hove Albion were recovering from a 2-0 loss to Stockport County two days prior in League One.
How times have changed.
Hey NSC
A good family friend's cousin has been invited to participate in the Orange Bowl, in Miami - the second biggest junior tournament behind Wimbledon.
Unfortunately, given the fact that this is held in Miami, LTA are not providing any funding and so competitors have to raise funds...
I was asked to come to a meeting to with my boss because I managed to get most of the high street at 3am doing the Yaya/Kolo Toure chant. Causing mayhem for the taxi drivers but was a cracking ending to a sub standard night.
They only knew it was me because I started to do Brighton chants...
When I was on a a stag-do in Newquay one of the guys bought a few pasties to give to a homeless guy. He just replied "I don't like pasties"
Pretty sure there's a saying that goes with this.
I personally think IF we let JFC go, he will come back and bite us in the ass!
He is an absolute talent and would be a shame to see him leave the Albion. He deserves an opportunity when he is full of confidence and under a competent manager like Hughton, not Hyypia.
