Zaha to The Gooners for £9m in January?

And you are right most of the fat cat clubs could easily treble Zahas salary, but he is on a lengthy contract and that means he goes on Palaces terms when and if he does leaves. Freedman was different because his contract was up in the summer and as far as anyone knows Palace hadn't come to him...

Zaha to The Gooners for £9m in January?

The club refused permission because if they had granted It then Freedman could have walked and Bolton would not have had to pay compensation. As soon as the comp was agreed permission was granted.

Zaha to The Gooners for £9m in January?

And Freedman went because A) he was reportedly offered 3 times his salary at Palace and most people would jump at that and B) The owners did nothing to stand in his way as far as I can see, so as long as they got the compensation they felt was right they allowed him to leave.

Zaha to The Gooners for £9m in January?

As I said its easy to say somebody wont be sold but if a club come in and offered crazy dough I have no doubt we would accept it.

Zaha to The Gooners for £9m in January?

Steve Browett (one of the Palace owners) stated today that Zaha is not for sale. I am sure silly money may well change his mind however!

    Grimest town/city you've ever visited.

It is mainly South Bronx that is the worst though to be fair, but 1520 Sedgwick Avenue was where Hip Hop started so i can forgive it!

You may be right but i can't remember them spending that kind of dough on any player, then again i don't really take a lot of notice of QPR if i am honest. And yeah they certainly have the spending power if needs be if and when they get promoted

So is Ambrose, Davids, Danns and Dorman and like them we need a goalscorer too!! I am hoping Counago finds scoring a bit easier here than at Ipswich!

Yeah they are blessed with wealthy owners but apart from the £1m paid for the aforementioned Moroccan, when have they spent big?

I think Warnock has made a couple of those to be fair, but as i said he got Taraabt who is a mint player, he is the difference without doubt

    Affordable Strikers

Danny Kedwell from AFC Wimbledon is a very tidy little striker and wouldn't cost the earth either

To be fair apart from Taraabt their signings wouldn't have got anyone excited, but still 3 out of 3 you can't do any more than that i suppose
