    Wagners bottlers....

Yeah, we fear Fulham for sure, and still have to play them at home. They are are decent side, but inconsistent. I don't think Wagner will aim for any position, if that was even possible, but just try to build confidence and keep us on our game. This season has shown that we have more to fear...

    Wagners bottlers....

That's an exaggeration. We were poor yesterday, and we are now resigned to the playoffs. The autos were always a stretch, feared more by BHA than they were expected by Hudds. Although we were poor, the ref was another complete joker, bullied by Burton, and yet again we were denied another...

Huddersfield - Jonathan Hogg and Jon Gorenc Stankovic

 Aye, I think he will be Top Billing in years to come.

Huddersfield - Jonathan Hogg and Jon Gorenc Stankovic

Well, I think that was the game when they gave him MOM. ???

Huddersfield - Jonathan Hogg and Jon Gorenc Stankovic

True. Consistency is a problem with Billing, and there was never any such problem with Hogg. Mind you, Billing won MOM at Man City, and deservedly so. This when he was up against multi-million pound talent! :D

Back to work. Where? As professional Rugby player?

Huddersfield - Jonathan Hogg and Jon Gorenc Stankovic

Fair enough, but I think that was earlier in the season, and including a few cup games, when Wagner juggled things around more often. Not that I have checked the exact stats.

Anyone See The Stranglers At The Dome Last Night?

I wish I had been in London, but I'm in Spain - staring at the peaches...

Huddersfield - Jonathan Hogg and Jon Gorenc Stankovic

'Scumbags'. You're being very polite. I see the thread title was edited to include Stankovic. He was a bit part player. A bright young prospect who came in as cover once or twice. Hudson is the first choice after Hefele in the centre back stakes. Billing and Whitehead will be covering for...

Huddersfield - Jonathan Hogg and Jon Gorenc Stankovic

Pun intended? Furthermore, thirteen is unlucky, according to many, so I am making this fourteenth post in the hope of Town not picking up any more injuries this weekend.

Huddersfield - Jonathan Hogg and Jon Gorenc Stankovic

Agreed, but he's not bad in a scuffle on the side lines when it comes to general snarling and aggressive body language. This skill is especially useful when your manager and fans are prone to assaulting opposition managers and players, shortly before claiming to be the innocent party.

Huddersfield - Jonathan Hogg and Jon Gorenc Stankovic

Good all round. He plays a lot of telling passes out of defence, and scores the odd goal with head and feet. He has a good partnership with Schindler, the other German centre back. He scored the winner against L666ds, so he will forever be held in high regard by Hudds fans ... and God. We...

Huddersfield - Jonathan Hogg and Jon Gorenc Stankovic

Correct. http://www.examiner.co.uk/sport/football/news/aaron-mooy-rejoin-huddersfield-town-12802846 Not to be pedantic, but I don't think Hogg played in the home game against you lot, so there is hope for Hudds despite the Hogg injury blow. :bigwave:

Huddersfield - Jonathan Hogg and Jon Gorenc Stankovic

Hogg is a big blow for us. Not the most technically gifted, but very hard working. He gets the tackles in, plays the simple balls, and covers a lot of ground. An unselfish Claude Makelele type player. Hogg and Mooy were one of the best midfield partnerships at this level, IMHO. We have other...

We are going to f*ck this up, aren't we?

Everyone fecked up this weekend. You not as badly as us, Hudds. It's still all to play for.

It Could Come Down to Goal Difference, Again!

    Weird conversations heard in public

I saw someone park in a disabled bay outside a newsagent, and hurry in. He appeared to be able bodied. A passer by pointed at his car, and shouted: "You can't park there you spastic!" Not really a conversation, but...

"I'm in a unique situation for a manager because I'm not bothered if I get the sack"

If you want pretty football, Warnock is not your man. He might keep you up, or even get you up, but I've never seen his philosophy as long term. I plan to read his book all the same. Was there anything in the pay to play rumours?

    Huddersfield's run in

Sure, he had only one hand on it, but according to Law 12 that is enough, particularly when that hand is clasping the ball to his chest and ground simultaneously. A lot of people seem confused about this, including numerous pundits, but the law is clear. A tough one for the ref all the same...
