I think we all clinging to this! And touch wood it will!!
Just don't have a good feeling.
I think all is not well behind the scenes, Gus flounced on us and let us down but the point he was trying to make re investment looks to be born out.
Oscar was the wrong man for the situation we are in at present, we needed somebody who could make us well drilled and organised and hard to beat.
Oscar is a massive gamble which could go either way, and at the moment I am very worried.
Isn't CMS out of contract in the summer? Add to that we will need to invest heavily in the defensive areas, Greer and Upson look like they are nearing their sell by date, ward is on loan and Bruno looks spent.
The club need to invest in the short to medium term or we will be playing in front of...
Lack of goals is one thing but we have looked easy pickings defensively this season and that is my big worry, a team is built from the back with a system. We appear to not have a system.
Really?
No discipline in shape
Speculative hero balls lumped all round the pitch
Poor set pieces
Lack of passion or belief
I'm sorry I don't see what you are seeing....
Lua Lua was largely a sub last season or did not feature
CMS was injured for most of the second half of last season
Hoskins injured for most of last season
Orlandi in and out last season
Bridcutt ever present.
Ulloa a big miss
We have looked very poor this season, our discipline in terms...
I totally agree that revenues from other areas are helpful and the training complex will deliver long term. However the manager we have is a big gamble and we don't seem to have recruited that well this season and have not prioritised a forward.
I can only express my concern that we may sleep...
I have no problem with Bloom investing in more infrastructure and revenue generation this is all good in the long term.
However we do seem to have taken our eye off of footballing matters and this is disappointing. It seems Gus May have had a point about hitting a ceiling, and we are now...
This all sounds good in the long term as long as the board do not take their eye off the playing side of the business in the short to medium term.
It would be of little comfort to me having these wonders if we find ourselves in league 1.
The big worries to me are the lack of discipline in shape and marking, this does not have have much to do with the players out injured.
This is down to coaching and the ability of the management team to get or get buy in from the players in to what they want them to do. Or even worse this is...
Quite agree it seems you have to love Oscar as some new messiah and cant criticise what you can see happening on the pitch.
To me it was a massive gamble to appoint him, it must be very hard for him to get up to speed with championship football, research available players he would have had no...
We had more energy than Tuesday night and Lua Lua had a good game, other than that we suffered from the same problems - poor marking, poor defensive shape, played to narrow and poor pass selection.
We scored on the break but tbf Forrest could have had 2 in the first half and 4 in the second.

Again poor discipline in marking and keeping a shape beat us, the players available are good enough to make us hard to beat and to get results...
