I was with my mum at the age of 2 taking my sister to hospital as she was in labour. The resultant kid went on to marry a bloke from saltdean called mr. El-abd!
Kanu
Arsenal v Chelsea - came on with arsenal 2-0 down and scored a hatrick of quality goals in the last 15 minutes....
Rounded De Goey and curled in the winer from the byline....

I'd be tempted to go for it 4-3-3 and play:
Brezovan
El-Abd Tunnicliffe Elphick McNulty
Navarro
Bennett Crofts
Forster Dickinson Murray
But feel that he may play safe with the following:
Brezovan
Hoyte Tunnicliffe Elphick El-Abd
Bennett Crofts...
I would disagree that he wasn't up to it along with many of his ex-colleagues who trained with him everyday. I feel that he is better than Navarro, A Davies and Seb Carole who is back on trial at the club. As a home grown player I presume he is cheaper than the aforementioned too.
Granted...
Glad the blokes getting some recognition for being a decent player. Shame the club didn't support the rest of the home grown players like Sullivan and Fraser..oh wait.. maybe because Smith and Navarro are better?!.....:US:
I think El-Abd warrents his place on his performances over the last few games, but feel that McNulty is a quqlity player. Him comming on at the weekend in midfield was probably just to give him a run out. I wouldn't be supprised if we see the following team on Friday:
1. Breznovan
2. El-Abd...
They don't know how to play 3-5-2 so would be catastrophic.
I'd go:
----------Kuipers------------
El Abd Virgo Tunnicliffe Wright
Bennett Crofts Dicker A Davies
-------Forster Murray-------
Don't think Whing is match fit yet....
The lads that I speak to from brighton say that slade was a great bloke but a few of the lads took the piss out of him and particulay his coaching staff to the point of refusing bother in training drills. Coaching has been minimal since dean White left as training is mostly game or fitness...
Hear hear...we have spent money and are a worse team. Bear in mind that the players who come in are on much higher wages than the likes of Fraser and are no better...just older so the chance of any resale is less.... Sounds a bit of a daft policy to me. I think we can all stop looking for scape...
The guy was a childhood hero and a great player and leader but cant manage himself let alone a football club.
Geat bloke...great player...crap manager...
Smith 5 - not at fault for the goals but flapped at one cross.
Hoyte 7 - Did ok but pulled out of position covering for centre halves for second goal - not his fault.
Elphick 4 - needs an injection of confidence...leave it at that...
Tunnicliffe 5 - average game but best central defender at...
My half time view:
the centre halves have too much space between them and their strikers are finding it easily. They keep getting drawn out wide unnecessarily and leaving gaps. 2nd goal came from hoyte having to cover inside leaving a man totally unmarked at the back post....very poor. Going...
