Just suffered the long trip from Lime Street to Euston near 4 entitled Everton fans who didn't stop spouting crap for the whole journey. Apparently their new stadium is far to small for a start as they have a 30k waiting list apparently.
Still it was a very enjoyable Euston platform to Victoria...
Definitely, even if its say up to 24 hours before KO. I cannot believe it seems impossible to cancel a ticket, there must be a way of issuing a "kill ticket" by email which the owner must download to automatically remove the ticket in a wallet, once done the club receive notification and the...
I went to a T20 match at Hove in July, three adults+ 1 child on a F&F card - 24 tickets came out of the machine + 1 collection receipt. 4 Bexhill-Hove 4 Hove-Bexhill, Unreserved seats 4 Bexhill-Brighton, 4 Brighton -Bexhill, 4 Brighton-Hove, 4 Hove- Brighton.
We walk to and from Kirkdale (15-20 minutes) and its a 10 minute train ride followed by a five minute walk to Lime street - VAR dependent 1743 is possible if the game finishes before 5pm
Did you witness the number of fans outside the ground after home matches two years ago, mostly the Mitoma+ crew admittedly but it is easy to see how kids could get injured in the scrum for photos and autographs, not a lot the club could do other than stop it.
Very unfair IMO, if the club is at fault is is allowing the shirt beggers access to the ground with their pathetic "Dunk can I have your shirt" etc signs, the signs should be removed at entry or taken by stewards in the ground, the club even allow the fans zone cameras to zoom in on the beggers.
Its a real shame, really is time to ban the beggers with signs from the ground which'll be a good start
Back in the Withdean days the junior seagulls events were brilliant, still treasure my daughters photos on the pitch after the training session with Bobby Zamora and Gary Hart among others
In most old grounds you can see the players getting off the coach but never a chance to get photos or signatures, get to the entrance by about 1pm and wait, all depends on the way the stewards operate.
I assume its the fact that the ticket says you have to travel with others but the automatic barrier can't tell if you are so won't let you through, even though the human at the gate doesnt give a toss about the ticket. Most annoying one was a couple of years ago at London Bridge, where there was...
Traveling quite often on F&F or TT railcards or group savers to away matches I always go to a manned barriers as they never seem to work, especially annoying on the tube
