Brighton & Hove Albion vs Reading *** Official Match Thread ***

We're giving too much possession and they are coming into the game. It's a bit dangerous at the moment. We're starting to lose our shape. I think we need to get to half time and regroup.

We need to keep the pressure on. Mustn't let them settle. (I really don't like Kermogant!)

Stats suggest that Huddersfield are all over Barnsley. I can't see that game turning round.

    Remaining fixtures

When we compare the remaining fixtures we mustn't ignore the key effect of home versus away. Huddersfields against top clubs are mainly at home, whereas Newcastle have a trio of games coming up against us, Huddersfield and Reading that are all away. (Many of these key fixtures are in the next...

    The hardest Championship ever?

I don't think you can measure how hard the division is by the number of points of the top teams. It perhaps suggests that there is a bigger quality difference between top and bottom. It's a bit different from the year that Poyet took us to the playoffs when the whole division was very even

Is it too early to start thinking we're going up?

We should now be focussing on Newcastle and Huddersfield. Leeds are falling too far back and shouldn't be able to catch us now It's interesting to look at the upcoming fixtures because they show that the run-in is very different fur the top 3 Games left against teams in top 6: Newcastle: 4...

Is it too early to start thinking we're going up?

It's much too early. We are in the driving seat, but Huddersfield have form and an easier fixture schedule. Most of their difficult upcoming games are at home. Given the form of both Newcastle and Huddersfield the bookies are weakening our odds on promotion and winning the title.

Liverpool Football Club ban Sun journalists

It is true that this is a very late decision. However I think it reflects the strong feelings that have been refocused by the inquests. Even people who knew what really happened feel empowered by the fact that it has been clearly proven in the courts and public enquiry that the fans were not to...

    Shopping at The Goldstone?

I don't live in. Right on so it's easy for me. I have never gone near there since the ground was there. I want to remember it as it was.

Anyone know if Richard Vaughan has ever visited the Amex. A few years ago I remember reading that he hadn't visited yet. He must be 35 now
