I'm not sure you can say that when OG himself said yesterday he is very proud of them, they played exactly how he asked them to, and he couldn't want anymore.
I'm not expecting him to start sounding out the players in an interview but if he is happy with that I'm worried no amount of decent...
Although doing some stat reviews it isn't as marked as I'd thought so lesson learnt. They generally score over 70 goals though.
I suppose it goes back to balance and at the moment we are way to on the defensive side.
Nah. It happens, but in general the teams that go up score more than other teams. I'm not saying they don't have good defences some/most of the time but they don't hang their hat on it.
I do bloody love the term utter rot though. I couldn't think of a better way to describe how I feel about my...
"I look at the performance of my players and I feel they did what I asked of them. I cannot criticise them and say that they could have played better. They have given everything and I am proud of them.

Yeh ok maybe not fighting relegation...points still valid though. How many teams get promoted from this league off of the back of the tightest defence?
He certainly upset most of the fans that went today. I agree 100% with those saying it's not the winning it's the style. A prime example is Wigan at home, one of the most enjoyable games of the season and we lost. If every performance was like that I wouldn't be moaning if we were fighting...
OG has had a terrible situation to deal with, no preseason a huge injury list and a lack of quality signings. However we are not suffering from injuries as much a the moment and we seem to have gone backwards.
Lopez looked much more dangerous in his natural role behind the striker but Buckley...
He was ok. The Leeds players were very canny and kept grabbing at our players necks (weirdly a large amount) on his blindside. Luckily no big decisions as he did seem like he might bottle them.
I'm in ESU near the back on the centre line and have to agree to some extent. My Dad and I get involved if there is a bad decision, we switch off etc but not many others do. Still love the view and my Dads mates sit there so can get my fix at away games!
Said pretty much the same on another thread, they need to be honest about our aspiration.
Today's game was awful and I do blame the manager. Not saying he should go at all, but setting up like that against a team down on confidence and with a crowd ready to get on their backs, and a poor...
Always a worry facing a time after two results like they've had, probability of a back lash is high. We need a positive result after the games yesterday so hopefully we will go for it. More likely a nervey, cagey affair with a tight draw.
Couldn't agree more. I love watching the albion and the general direction the club is going (facilities etc). I just think more open communication about transfer policy and spending (and therefore the inherent impact on the time frame) would be beneficial.
I'm personally glad I'm around to see...
This summer will be key. There is no need to panic buy now if the right players aren't there. However if we don't spend in the summer the club should hold their hands up and be honest about their ambition. Nothing wrong with TB not wanting to risk more money, but he should be upfront about it.
Haven't read the whole thread but we weren't anywhere near as bad on Sat as against Barnsley. I was, for only the second/third time this season, in agreement with OG that the performance fully merited a win. I was much more entertained than against Barnsley and we looked the classier team. We...
Yeh saying we should be hammering them verges on Wigan style arrogance when they said they should be battering teams like us. You get what you deserve in football most of the time and tonight we deserved to be put in our place a little. Onwards and upwards though, this league is mental....
