Exactly this. At the game it was very obvious to me that there were some significant differences to how we played compared to under Potter. We played a lot more down the middle, we noticably invited the Liverpool press in order to break it and have an overload, and the players seemed to switch...
He's mates with agents and gets all his news from them. Once you realise that his tweets are basically repeats from agents, things become a bit clearer. I'm not 100% convinced this is our guy yet.
While it is unlikely, I wouldn't rule out Gallardo. Maybe he feel he needs European experience before taking one of the big jobs. It happens with players so why not managers? I assume he'll get a significant pay-rise coming to Europe too.
