[Music] Oasis at Brighton Centre on 29 December, 1994 - were you there?

Well, what it did I don’t do anymore. One of my songs got on BBC radio, but then some unforeseen shit happened after that and I found out who my real friends were. As for Oasis, I already liked a couple of singles (Don’t Look Back in Anger and Little by Little, I think) and I think it was a...

[Music] Oasis at Brighton Centre on 29 December, 1994 - were you there?

Probably right, but I was talking about the bands at that time. That comment about Oasis sounding like The Beatles is so lazy. They sound no more like The Beatles than Slade do. If by ‘sounding like The Beatles’ means having catchy tunes, great voices and brilliant riffs...then yeah! They...

[Music] Oasis at Brighton Centre on 29 December, 1994 - were you there?

They didn’t though, they were themselves, which is one of the reasons why so many liked them. They didn’t need to tow the line, they became successful through the music and charisma alone. I don’t mind Ed, but he’s pretty beige and like a lot of celebrities probably doesn’t really say what he...

I’m sure he is a talented musician, just like Noel. As for more successful, think you may have the check the records for that. It may be close though. I was talking about Blur on their own though. As for his other act, I liked a few singles, wouldn’t call them interesting though or rather hear...

Doesn’t surprise me to see you not reading the whole thing as you never want to know the truth. You made up allowed of crap about Blur being better, I must have missed it when 2 and half million people applied for tickets for an Blur gig or when any of Blur’s albums sold more than Oasis’s. I...

[Music] Oasis at Brighton Centre on 29 December, 1994 - were you there?

I wasn’t a teenager when Oasis ‘arrived’. I was a teenager when bands like The Killers, The Kooks, Kings of Leon etc. did come about. I listened to them and more, but I heard the album ‘Stop The Clocks’ and that changed it for me, so I bought ‘Dig Out Your Soul’ first then their previous albums...

Got any videos of them acting like *unts? When it comes to music, I’ve never disagreed with anything they’ve said. I don’t know know what other opinions you’re referring too. Like I said, they are other acts that have done far worse, do you not listen to them either because they might’ve taken...

[Music] Oasis at Brighton Centre on 29 December, 1994 - were you there?

If you look on Instagram, they look like they are coming back into fashion, they are possibly bigger now than when they split. A lot of young people are getting onboard and it kicked off after ‘Supersonic’ came out. An Oasis reunion would be huge, it won’t happen obviously, but hundreds of...

[Music] Oasis at Brighton Centre on 29 December, 1994 - were you there?

What’s a crock of shite? I’ve worked with producers and I know exactly how they are and how most musicians are, just like some on here with the ‘they were yobs, so I don’t listen’ shite. I didn’t say Oasis were outliers, but they were probably the most recognised working class band that...

[Music] Oasis at Brighton Centre on 29 December, 1994 - were you there?

Wow! Talk about living in a made up world. Oasis absolutely battered Blur when it came to ‘the battle of the bands’, look at the album sales and how many number 1’s each band had. Blur purposefully chose to release their single the same time Oasis released their’s (which happened to be the worst...

[Music] Oasis at Brighton Centre on 29 December, 1994 - were you there?

I was talking about how the music industry is now. No, they didn’t act like *unts, that was tabloid rubbish, there are other famous bands that have done far worse, even acts on their own like Elton John. They didn’t slag off others to seem cool, they just told the truth and obviously that was...

[Music] Oasis at Brighton Centre on 29 December, 1994 - were you there?

:lolol: By far one of the best bands we’ve ever had. The perfect blend of rock and pop, much like the The Beatles in that way. The snobbery of musicians/producers in the business towards working class musicians who may want to emulate bands like Oasis is what keeps potential good bands from...

    [Albion] Amex expansion.

Amen to that. I think similar can be done to the South Stand too, they’ve already got some seats up there.

It might if the council allow it. They can build it, but they need permission to be able to host 32,000.

    [Albion] Amex expansion.

If anyone’s interested, I finally got round to making the new tier steeper. It was too shallow before and the view from the back wasn’t very good, I think this is more realistic. Let’s hope it will get built one day and we’ll all be allowed to go.

    [Albion] Brentford or Leicester?

I wouldn’t assume we’d lose to Brentford though and would’ve had a great chance of getting to the quarter finals.
