Donny, four of us. Couldn't believe I managed to get tickets. WSL about in line with the edge of the north penalty area, perfect for the second.

[Albion] £14.95 to a Brighton foodbank instead - Monday PPV vs. West Brom.

Why do you think you are being exploited ? You are simply being given the opportunity to watch a game on TV that you otherwise couldn't watch live in person and is not on TV. Be honest you just want it for free, that's what is upsetting you.

[Football] Liverpool and Manchester United lead ‘European League’ breakout league idea

And don't forget Premier league 25 man squad. They will need far more to compete in 2 leagues, so will there be a really really 'B' team, or will they spread the jam thin, or have 2 squads.

[TV] any decent alternatives to hesgoal?

Apparently there is a problem with that service in that you have to pay twice, although it only really affects a few people and they do get one of the payments back eventually. Good job it's not compulsory to use though.

    [Technology] Buying a new car

It may well be the best car in the world ever, but I think the blank dashboard with a bloody big tablet stuck in the middle is just plain butt ugly. My opinion

[Albion] Albion Women vs Everton in the Womens Super League today - kick off 1pm

It is my inexpert opinion, and has been since day 1 that Hope Powell, despite her past appointments, is not a good coach/manager. Just my opinion, I am allowed one.

    [Technology] Buying a new car

Nice, but, I just don't get removing the instrumentation binnacle and gluing a tablet in the middle of the dash. Weird. Have to take your eyes off the road to see anything.

    [Technology] Buying a new car

I'm looking to to get one next year as well, going from a 2 car family to a one car. When did new cars get sooooo expensive. Last new car we bought was in 2007 a Fiesta for my wife, and I still have my car which I bought second hand 12 years ago. Now even a mid range car seems to be wayyy...

Thanks again to everyone for all the suggestions. Just in case you haven't read any Jeffrey Archer novels (please ignore the fact he was a politician for a while) they are absolute page turners.

Having most recently completed the Jack Reacher series of novels some in print some in audio, looking for suggestions for some books to read or listen to. [Albion] £14.95 to watch Albion

    [Misc] The Jet Stream

Jet streams were first discovered in the 1920s by a Japanese meteorologist named Wasaburo Ooishi. He used weather balloons to track upper level winds high above Mount Fuji. The term “jet stream" wasn't used until 1939, though, when a German meteorologist first used the term in a research paper...
