I absolutely agree and if players over 20 are being loaned out to L1 or 2 clubs then you can pretty well write them off, we need to be loaning U23s to Championship Clubs just to see if they stand a chance of bridging the gap. I don’t think there is a direct route from U23 to first team.

I think that CH will be back in PL as the guy teams will go to when staring relegation in the face, I think he would be smart to bide his time and wait for a call around December or January.
