I agree, I thought Greer was good yesterday. Although I do agree with the OP, despite our excellent defensive record, I think Greer has proved to a weak link recently. However, I do think he has the quality to turn it around and use yesterdays performance as base level for improvement.

He's a winger playing up top; he could be worth a go but he's smaller than CMS, not exactly the target man we are in search off. I think David McGoldrick would be a better bet: 6ft1, well built, good finisher. He's scored 11 in 17 on loan at Coventry this season and is out of favor at Forest.

It wasn't just his penalty though was it? How about him missing the ball when he should have scored early in the second half? Or his free header in the first half? Matt Sparrow used to work hard; it doesn't mean you should be playing.
