I'd say the most likely issue is the CPU. It's quite a low end CPU and once you've got a modern browser, anti-virus, skype and the OS overhead out the way there's not going to be many CPU cycles left for much else. Now there's not much you can do about that apart from get a different laptop but...
Just saw an air ambulance fly over the office and land near the pavillion. There's been quite a bad crash up north street: http://www.theargus.co.uk/news/13372177.Bus_crashes_into_another_bus_in_Brighton/
Any of these would be OK for a beginner: http://www.rollersnakes.co.uk/hardware/skate/skateboard-completes#/hardware/skate/skateboard-completes/options/blind-darkstar/?
They're a bit smaller then a normal size one so good for an 8-9 year old. My boy had a Darkstar one to learn on when he was 7 I...
Looks like it might be CryptoWall 3.0 from what I've read and it's quite active at the moment. Here's an article with a bit of info and how it's bundled with some extra Spyware: http://blog.trendmicro.com/trendlabs-security-intelligence/cryptowall-3-0-ransomware-partners-with-fareit-spyware/
Firstly I'd disconnect that PC from the internet. The Cryptolocker/torrentlocker virus on there is probably not the only piece of malware that has been installed. I would definitely not do any online banking or log in to email accounts and if you have you'd want to change your passwords...
I play at Stanley Deason on Monday nights (and Waterhall and Westows before that). It's great fun and a good way to keep fit. "i've heard the players at Deason can be quite temperamental." - I've never had any problems up there. It can get a bit rowdy every now and then but so would most contact...
From BBC's "Sportsday - football transfers latest" an 13:42:
Brighton & Hove Albion head of football operations David Burke hopes the Football League will clamp down heavily on those clubs who fail to abide by the new Financial Fair Play rules.
Championship clubs are permitted to make a loss of...
About 8 years ago I used to work in a chain pub and this looks almost identical to what used to be served, including the way it's presented. Every item was microwaved except the burnt onion (or was it parsnip) that was placed on top for presentation. Cost about £5 and was actually edible but...
Open device manager and take a look under network adapters. Is there anything there? If not the onboard network interface could be faulty. If there's something there but there's a yellow warning symbol on it, open the properties of the device and see what the error code is. This could indicate a...
Yep, I've stopped buying them too. I won quite a few times the first season getting a few pies, burgers and 2 for 1 Sealife centre vouchers. I won a couple of times at the start of last season and then won absolutely nothing for the next 20 or so games so stopped getting them about a third of...
I know it was a bit of a marmite film but I read recently that they're gonna remake starship troopers but as a serious action movie, similar to the total recall remake. It was the comedy aspects of these films that made them classics IMO. Love the propaganda news reels in starship troopers.
Yeah, I liked the concept but it wasn't great in the end. I'll watch the next episode but if that's crap I'll give it a miss.
I've watched the first two episodes of True detectives and quite like it. Its a bit slow moving but there's something about it that keeps you hooked.
Also just started...
They probably put us on last to keep the viewing numbers up throughout the first half of the show. I do tend to record it and skip through most of the games but there were a few odd results yesterday that were worth watching.
