If you don’t go tomorrow but are planning to go in the future, try and book up the Sky Gardens in the City. It’s free but you need to reserve a time slot which gets booked up well in advance. It does give great views looking South from the North side of the Thames and overlooks the Tower of London.
Go early and definitely the Science museum. Eating out in London is expensive but if you don’t mind Weatherspoons, they are good value. Look for 2 for 1 deals and I think the tube is free for young children but best check that before you go. Do they still do kids travel for £1 offers on Southern?
If it took him so long to lace up his boots, why didn’t Dave start changing earlier?
Changing the subject slightly, I was in a pub once and a tortoise crawled up to the bar and ordered a pint. The barman said he didn’t serve tortoises, picked him up, walked to the front door and threw him out...
Apologies, I wasn’t meaning to have a dig at you. I work in a small office (sub 10 peaople) and I know the ones who will never take liberties and the ones that do, either in or out of the office environment.
I unofficially allow working at home in between external meetings and I have been more...
I had an issue with a colleague WFH recently. I won’t going into specifics but why is it unreasonable of your Employer to expect you to be at work on time and getting to your workplace (on time) is not part of your paid work time?

Wouldn’t, with more water in the air and less evaporation in Winter, actually mean that a bat would be less likely to split in Winter rather than in the Summer when the wood is more likely to dry out and therefore split?
Out of interest do we know how much the club pay him. My friend (I have more than one) said it was 50% of £300k per week? He is undoubtedly a good player who got an injury just as he was coming into form for us this season, but not for £150k per week if that is true.
I had the misfortune of travelling overnight sleeper class in a 6 berth train carriage in China in 1992. Me and my mate both being non smokers had the top bunks. Everyone one else smoked. Oh my god, it was like sleeping in a cloud the amount of smoke in there. Never forgotten that.
One piece of advice, if you are able to talk to others in the same position as you it will help. It’s a bit of a cliche but a problem shared and all that. Best wishes again.
