Yes, but the cheaper fuel is 23 miles from Shoreham in Chichester. Two other examples for me was filling up in August one mile from Gatwick airport when collecting from the airport which was 4/5p cheaper than down here and when going to a function in Eastbourne last year, it was also much...
I wouldn’t discount Autotradrer. I sold my wife’s Aunt’s car with an uploaded video about 3 years ago for £7,500. The equivalent opening quote on Motorway was about £1000 less than that before the bartering started. There were a few chancers on Autotrader but in the end it worked well although...
I regularly drive from Shoreham to Hampshire and that petrol station is always 5/6p cheaper than the ones in Shoreham. It makes a mockery of so called open competition when the Sainsbury’s and Tesco PFS are exactly the same price in Shoreham/Hove.
I hope you're benevolent (benevolency was introduced here in 2004 so we foreigners know about that concept at least) enough to see past this cultural misunderstanding and I apologise to the people of Britain for not understanding that all of you.
I'll be better. Once I've had a cold burger...
Has he approached firms like Focus Group for any openinns? Or even just asked for a week or two unpaid work experience which will bolster his CV? Best of luck to him.
I think it is correct that the benefit should be means tested. There are pensioners who clearly need it and others (family members included) that really do not need it. I would pay more tax generally, not to fund this particular benefit though and can’t understand the obsession of reducing taxes...
Two and a half hours sitting in a queue to get through UK passport control at the tunnel crossing in Calais. 50% of the UK side passport kiosks are shut. Oven ready.
Just out of interest, has anyone to your knowledge turned the table on any parking firms when they have been issued dubious “fines” and sued them in the smalls claims court for harassment or similar ?
I can’t remember the exact details why and I was at the game as perplexed at everyone at that decision, but I recall he did actually (unfortunately) make the right decision in not giving us a corner. Maybe something to do with the ball not being out when he blew for the penalty?

What line of business are you in yourself? To a degree construction undertaken by competent builders is a bit like an iceberg in that 90% of the hassle/preparation time etc is never seen or appreciated. There are obviously cowboys/girls/them out there though.
And it’s quite amusing when you use them in the “non stop” lane with a Uk number plate when the French driver behind you thinks you’ve made a mistake and in the wrong lane and holds back 30m as they think you’ll have to reverse out.😎
I wouldn’t say they are essential, but they are very handy if...
If you do happen to drive on a French motorway though, don’t leave more than a car length between you and the vehicle in front otherwise a French driver will overtake you to fill the gap.
Bruges is very touristy but has to be visited and is easily walkable in the centre. . It’s a car free city but very easy to park and reasonably priced to leave your car at the purpose built multi storey car parks near the station on the edge of town and then walk in (15 mins) or get a shuttle...
Not sure what it’s like in Germany and Holland but to drive in some major cities in France you need to have a low emissions sticker. I got one just in case as it was only 5/6 Euros.
