I did this to death at the time. His goal to shot ratio and goal to minutes ratio were actually decent, whilst he was with us. Particularly considering that most of those minutes were coming on at the end of a match to give Murray a breather, during Hughton's Uber Cautious period.

He's great, I love him and don't want him to go, but he's never going to generate much interest in the market . Nice tidy player, with little to no goal involvements. He is likely to always be losing his place to midfielders, with a bit extra physically, or in the final third.
