Just going back to the Burrell, as the Star is shut, I actually might pop down today. Apparantly they do a Burger, Chips and a Pint for £2.99 or something? Can anyone confirm if this is true, and if so any opinions?

I went to the Duck at lunch once, and thought wtf have i come in here for? Tried the Heath yesterday lunchtime. Think I was the only one in there!

Not sure if he still owns Evo anymore. I believe that the guy from FineBaps own Evo now plus another pub somewhere outside HH.

Ha! I can see from our office that they are sort of doing the back garden up at Evo. I was there last Friday and its probably gone from £3.5 a pint to £3.6 now.

Went passed the Star today, and noticed that it shut down. Looked like they are gutting the place? Anyone know what is going on, when it opens again?

The Burrells is a shithole, popped in there a couple of Fridays ago for quick pint whilst waiting for a train. It is a typical Railway pub if you ask me and not really a place for "Outsiders". The Burrells make the Star look quite pleasant.
