Ronaldo didn't have any when he was signed by Man Utd (only played 25 games in total for sporting), and what about Vardy, Mahrez, etc. I remember Veron being a high profile player with world cup experience signed for a transfer record, Man Utd "knew" what they were getting there.......
Indeed i just looked up (googled) bicycle braking and one person did a test at 10mph and showed that using a front brake only increases stopping distance about 10% (compared to using both) whereas using just the back brake increased stopping distance by over 120% so well over twice the distance.
Apparently crash investigator Edward Small said she had stepped into the road 3.8 seconds before the crash. (calculated from CCTV)
3.8 seconds at 18mph is ~30 metres. Why did he crash into her?
So he had no brakes at all? His argument that he was ignorant of the fact he needed a front brake surely goes out the window if he had no brakes? That is surely common sense to have some way to stop.
(as an aside i'm pretty sure i knew from about 6 years old that you needed both front and...
Yes that may be but there was also value in that. I remember one game in particular (can't recall who against) where we were 0-0 at about 60 mins and CMS was taken off. As soon as that happened their defence pushed 10-20 metres further up which allowed the rest of their midfield more freedom and...
Geez i'd forgotten some of them, the ones that sprang to my mind were Manu, Molango, Turienzo, Paynter, Agdestein, Sandaza, Rodríguez and going way back my favourite, Jamie Moralee who couldn't ever stay onside....
A bit over the top, he is far from our worse. We had plenty worse while he was here not to mention in the recent past. He had some good games for us, Leeds springs to mind. Plus he put in the cross that Ulloa scored from to secure the playoffs
That could be me. i will move over to the left lane at the safest/soonest moment after overtaking but if i get flashed, or honked to move over i will invariably slow down and delay moving out of the way. I know how to drive thanks. :)
indeed. I was on the train from great yarmouth to norwich. The train stopped outside norwich for about a minute and the driver told us why etc. I thought it was unnecessary as we'd only been stopped for a minute and the train was still running on time but it was a nice thing to do.
i'm astounded at some of these. I guessed Chris Evans was on about 500k and thought that was a lot for 3-4 hours "work" a day. I do listen to him but not convinced someone else couldn't do a nearly as good job and certainly for a lot less.
I didn't say i had any problems with the result and wasn't suggest another vote. I was postulating on why more votes wouldn't be more democratic? You must be worried that you wouldn't win a second time to be so against it :) Incidentally you could argue that the referendum isn't democratic as...
