No, cos I'm by no means certain that 3rd placed teams are necessarily favourites to go on and win promotion... that's kinda what interests me to find out...
Perhaps I didn't phrase the question well enough.
If come 8th May, sadly, we will have to complete in the play offs, what, pray you, do you think the odds would be on us, at that time (meaning in the future) to win the play-offs?
Hull, Derby and Wednesday are confirmed to be in the play-offs...
Typical odds now:
To be promoted: -
Burnley 1.04
Boro 1.4
BHA 1.5
Odds now on who will win the play-offs (and you can understand why we, Boro and Burnley are outsiders)...
Hull 3.0
Derby 4.0
Weds 4.5
BHA 6.0
Boro 7.0
Burnley 41.0
I would love to know what...
And
"I think Brighton only know one way to play. If they came to ours having to defend i think it kind of goes against their style of play. For me their main weakness is in central defence and you only have to look at the replay of our game at the Amex to see what we need to do as for most of...
"The better team tonight against a good Blues side, a perfectly good goal ruled out and Leads hitting the bar. Next Saturday, hopefully the luck will be with Boro. Definitely good enough to win against any Championship side though."
There we go - we're doomed!
Fair comment. No lap of honour I say, no pitch invasion. Like I say, stand up and clap them off the pitch. Sing our freaking hearts out, win lose or draw.
Don't care where they sit, I'm still seething about their behaviour last time out - utterly disgraceful, we should all take it personally. We should give them the 'Craig Pawson' treatment from minute 1...
I get you Dr Not.
I think the players really get something positive back from the after-match clappers - could make an important psychic difference going into the Boro game. I'll be really disappointed if we all don't.
I live in hope... what an opportunity to give thanks for the most wonderful season and so many amazingly dedicated players, and a glorious manager... I hope you're not right and the non-clappers/disappearers change their ways, just this one time...
