[Travel] Day trip to Bath - very much recommended.

There's great cycling around Bath, as long as you don't mind hills! Agree with most of the suggestions for pubs so far. I'd also mention St. James Wine Vaults which is behind the Royal Crescent.

    [Albion] Bristol Rovers tickets

I'm a Sussex boy (Heathfield) but moved down here as Mrs Blatter is from the area. It makes travelling to home games a bit of a drag, but I usually link it with visiting my ageing parents.........

    [Albion] Potter's players

Thanks for the considered view above and interesting to hear more about Graham Potter's preferred style of play and players. Looks like Many Ryan could be dipping out....... I also wonder if Shane Duffy's "bulldozer" style will be to his liking for a centre back? His short passing game has not...

    [Other Sport] RIP Niki Lauda

Wow, sad news to wake up too. One of my motor racing heroes. Always a straight talker. Still enjoyed seeing the interviews with him these days. It will be interesting to see how it affects the Mercedes team at this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix. Whether they're all put off their game by this. Or...

    [Albion] Potter's players

I think that one of the reasons Graham Potter has been brought in is because he appears to be a motivational specialist and able to work with an existing team, on a budget. I don't think that there'll be a wholesale change of players, more an attitude of "Here's the players we've spent money...

[Albion] Vid on Graham Potter's Ostersunds

Good links there. Thanks for posting. Potter's philosophy could work well with Brighton's "Together" ethic. Looking forward to seeing what happens.

    [Other Sport] Ayrton Senna

I was in Rio when Senna's body arrived back in-country from Italy. The whole city (country) came to a standstill, with everybody watching a TV somewhere. Hell of a response, especially as he was flown into his home city of Sao Paulo. The man was (and still is) pretty much a god there.

[Albion] Which goal did you leave after?

Left after the fourth goal and made the third bus out of Dodge. Was back in Bath by 19:30. Today was a truly wasted opportunity for us to put safe distance between us and Cardiff. We were clueless.

[Technology] Back to the Moon by 2024

It could be that the Americans are using it as a stepping stone for their Mars programme. This book The Value Of The Moon by Paul D. Spudis shows how he (a NASA scientist) believes that the poles of the moon are likely to have water and this resource should be used as part of the programme to...

[Albion] Manchester City vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

Well, despite all the bickering going on on this thread, I had a good day out today. We were never going to win at Citeh and it was always going be a damage limitation exercise, which we did very well. Despite not having much of the possession in the first half we certainly defended well away...
