I was thinking of driving and parking at Westfield but came across this on line as something they were looking at. Does anyone know if they ever put this into place.
[I][I]They want to give sufficient discouragement to spectators to ensure significant numbers do not use the Westfield car parks...
Massive congrats. Delivered my second son in the corridor of my house so can relate completely to your 'scariest moment in my life' quote! can guarantee you will probably never have a more amazing moment in your life...unless we win today of course :-)
Great thread bringing back a few memories. I had a few skinhead mates from Herne Bay and used to go up to the Last Resort shop in East London. Run by a guy called Micky French. The lads formed the band of the same name and Millwall Roi as he's affectionately known still fronts them. A spin off...
Just wanted to echo what everyone else has said. Never met the guy but he took the time to pm once about a thread. Guess that summed up the type of guy he was.
Ticket just purchased. wait was about 50 mins. Reckon a lot had logged on anyway as queue went down pretty quickly. Even so in the WSL there were hardly any seats higher than than O and would say about 300 or so left in WSL as a rough guess.
For those of you not aware there is a big new Hyde housing development going on next to the Peugeot garage where the old factory used to be. About the same height as the one on the corner of Hove park. Always thought they will have a completely crap view either side!
Ordered my ticket for Saturday from Ticketmaster 3 weeks ago but not received yet but hopefully will eventually arrive. Shamelessly going to plug a band a mate of mine manages. The Blinders Hope and Ruin late on Saturday. Up and coming Manc band with a bit of attitude!
The Gus Poyet parade thingy was crap. About half the people who were at the Mickey Adams/Hove Town Hall one turned up. Seemed to remember it was partly the route but mostly the day that was chosen! Let's hope lessons were learnt!
Bit of a horrible story my boy told me when I got home. A lad he knows quite well who goes to watch the Albion got into the car with his grandad right outside the school. From what I can gather the granded had a heart attack or something resulted in the car hitting a fence rolling over on the...
Many moons ago I used to go to the mad dog in the fog. Not sure if it's still there but was a good footie pub. Haight street... just stay away from the projects down the road.
My dad recently moved to Bexhill but he can't get Quest (his favourite) and a few other channels on freeview anymore due to the weakness in the local transmitter. Anyone recommend the best way to make him happy?
