I've been playing a couple of weeks.
I'm in the Le Tissier world and the Casual Afternoon FA.
I still don't really know exactly what's going on and I draw a lot of my games.
I think I'm being left behind due to lack of activity.
The community is very friendly though, which is a nice change...
A fine post KSH; a lot of us have real sympathy/empathy for your current league plight ('there but for the grace of God...'). And many of us don't take to despising people simply based on the town they come from.
Just one, friendly correction though - you didn't actually beat us - you drew with...
I always think that GAMST looks more like he should be in a pseudo Indie but actually mainstream guitar band rather than a footballer. The form he's been in recently backs this up.

What stays with me to this day is the eerie, echoing sound of the stadium being kicked and picked apart from almost straight after the final whistle. I wanted to quietly reflect and yet there was everyone treating the old place with such disrespect, just to get a bit of chair or some other...
A very decent commentator by local radio standards and comes across as a thoroughly nice chap, with no discernible ego or agenda unlike so many other football commenators.
There's nothing really like Wings on PS2. Have either of you got a DS? If so you could play the GBA remake of Wings that was released for that a few years ago - good luck finding a copy though.
However, there is an entertaining and quite pretty (for last gen) WWII plane shoot & bomb 'em up for...
