    [Misc] Electric Cars

Do you have the all-wheel drive? Curious how it handles the snow. I have the rear-wheel drive and live on the East Coast, US, where it snows a lot. I have to change to winter tires every 6 months, which is a bit of a pain. Wish, I'd gone for the all-wheel drive now. On another note, I've had...

[Albion] Europa League R16 away allocation

Silly question, and obviously not ideal, but if not enough points, how likely will there be some corporate hospitality-type deals you can book directly with the away club? I'm ok paying a premium and getting stuck into this bad boy and a bottle of red at Qarabağ FK.

[Albion] Pascal Groß just getting the train home

You’re right! It was Watford away 2018 so it was the PL.

[Albion] Pascal Groß just getting the train home

I sat next to his missus on train back from an away game when we were in the championship and said the same thing re a bit more pace. At the time she said Pascals dad (who couldn’t speak any English) had flown over the morning of every home and away game since he joined us.

[Albion] Jack Hinshelwood [9/4/24: new deal to 2028]

I've enjoyed Jack's post-match interviews. I'm planning on stealing his "as you said" line. Missus: "How was the game?" Me: "It was a solid performance, we went behind but came together and got the result. I had 12 pints and a kebab and stopped by the brothel. As you said, it was a good night"

    [Albion] Shirt On Sale

I’d pay that for blue/black inter style! A lovely shirt. @bhafc_smithy would you consider a part exchange for a vintage skint shirt, a 12 pack of wagon wheels, and a Rolex replica that I just got on Temu? You’d need to pay the postage but it’s a great deal

[Albion] The 2023-24 1st-year scholars and U-18s match thread

It doesn't need to be streamed, but I think it would be helpful to have a club ambassador with stream access (much like a journalist or a scout) @AZ Gull provides quality and informative updates on our youth teams based on stats alone. It must be a lot of work, and it's excellent content. We...

    The Official Girls Aloud Thread!!!

Random, but I've heard from several different sources Nadine loved back-door action back in the day. She's a good Derry girl.

    [Misc] Mundane celebrity encounters

A bit of a stretched celeb encounter, but on the train home from Watford away (2018?), I sat beside a pretty blonde German lady getting stuck into a whole tube of sour cream pringles. I made some small talk about crisp flavours, and it turned out to be Pascal's gf.. very pleasant and offered me...

[Misc] Things that the UK actually does rather well

I live out of the country, and 100% agree with all of these! If we were going in order, I might push up parks/gardens and sporting events higher, but this is a great list. I'll add Sunday Roast!

    [Albion] Albion Reject XI

Football Manager 2023 Pre-Season. The Brighton 1st team just couldn't handle that midfield trio. Maupay scores and a late cameo by Locadia who also gets on the scoresheet. Brighton manager Harry Potter is absolutely fuming!

Layth Gulzar appears in the Guardian's Next Generation 2023: 20 of the best talents at Premier League clubs. Was this your pick @AZ Gull ? A holding midfielder comfortable with both feet, Gulzar has a good passing range, is tactically disciplined and au fait with collecting the ball off his...

    [Albion] Assault in away end

Sorry for the confusion. I liked your post, I just thought the analogy was terrible. Like using a well versed vocabulary to show you’re smart and then use no instead of know!

    [Albion] Assault in away end

Rugby is the primary sport for private schools. I’d expect them to dominate a state school. It’s the same as football the other way around. I like that they’ve they tapped into inner city kids. It’s definitely got better. I still put my money on the year 7 lad though.

    [Albion] Assault in away end

Strange analogy! Not many state schools play Rugby. I reckon that year 7 state school lad might stand a good chance against Tarquin, Archibald and the rest of those big boys.

[Albion] Who is your favourite EVER Albion keeper?

Nicky Rust has got to be added to the poll. Didn't he get an England B team call-up? I vaguely remember some prestigious international link.
