I am very much looking forward to the game next Tuesday. Can't wait to hear the constant wall of noise from kick off to final whistle that is apparently always made by the vast army of Palace away fans as their academy packed side once again rips apart all that are put in their way. :whistle...
Got to Portslade Station at 6.30 and sat in my seat at Amex 12 mins after kick off - missing Bellemys goal.
Trains a complete @*£" up !
Support was immense :albion2:
I was interested to read the other day that our Charity Shield win counts as a "major" trophy - ranking alongside FA CUP Winners, League Cup Winners etc.
Don't think the Zenith Data Cup falls into this category :lolol:
Isn't life strange ? - all those Palace fans getting excited over a quote from Gus and here I am pacing the bedroom floor night after night worrying what Dougie Freedman might be thinking.
Think of the pool of local talent that London clubs have to draw on to enhance their academies - with a population of over 10 million on their doorstep you would expect to unearth gems. The population of the whole of Sussex is a little over 1 million so I think our expectations in this area are...
I like the way they mock us for selling 2k away tickets and one of them reckons they would take 4k to the Amex - yet they only took 2k to Barnsley last week. They seem to suffer from the same disease that Palace suffer - "gross exaggeration" - maybe it's a Championship thing ?
Come on fellas !
The only thing Palace will come away from the Amex with is their reputation in tatters. Better form, better players, better manager, home advantage all points to an Albion win. Winning margin will be 2-3 goals. No problem.
