[Albion] Who will leave us in the summer

Brighton's model depends on sales. You can't convince young 18 year old South Americans to join if there's no path to play. Estupian (55M) and maybe Mitoma (65-70M) to leave. RDZ to leave too. Barca, Liverpool and probably Bayern job will be up for grabs.

[Albion] If De Zerbi leaves, do you think Xavi would consider Brighton?

He's won La Liga so he might think he's above it, but he's a new manager and Brighton would be the perfect fit. Young players playing his style.

[Albion] Will RDZ be Brighton manager first game of the 24/25 season?

Barcelona is a perfect fit for him. But he would get stressed out within a year with all the media i'm sure.

[Albion] Who do you want in the FA Cup fifth round?

As a neutral I'd love to see Brighton vs Southampton. Southampton are on a 18 game winning streak averaging 66% possession in the championship. Something's got to give. Will be fascinating to see if Brighton would dominate them.

[Albion] How many players away from a top 4/ title challenge?

What you think? It can happen quite quick, it's never as much as most people think. Newcastle went from 11th to 4th after 2 transfer windows (and a lot of money), Villa have shot up the table too with good additions. In Spain, Girona went from 10th to currently 2nd in one transfer window...

[Football] Russell Martin, De Zerbi's eventual successor?

His Southampton team has closed the gap to 3 points with Ipswich now, 17 unbeaten. Most recent game a 2-1 home win with 78% possession, 752 passes. Tell me this doesn't sound like a De Zerbi replacement! Other than Martin, the Las Palmas manager in Spain or Girona manager would be a great coup.

[Albion] Am I being paranoid? De Zerbi

De Zerbi sees himself as a manager on Pep's level, probably thinks he's better than Arteta, Klopp etc. He wants everyone to know he's only in the current position (8th) because of the club selling his players. Good managers have egos. Mourinho does this all the time too.

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Tottenham Hotspur *** Official Match Thread ***

Wow. That RDZ interview is interesting. He really pressing the fact he had to sell his best players in the summer, I hope he isn't forced to again, or he might leave.

    [Albion] Palace Fans Biggest Fear

Palace have some good puzzle pieces, they aren't garbage. If they get a progressive manager (De Zerbi, Postecogolou) they can do well

[Albion] Facundo Buonanotte **On Loan To Leicester 10/08/24**

He's kinda lucky Enciso got injured and several others, there was talk he was going to be loaned out wasn't there?

[Football] Russell Martin, De Zerbi's eventual successor?

16 games unbeaten in the Championship Averaging 65.4 % possession (highest average ever recorded in the Champ) with 662 average passes per game (highest average recorded). Brighton born man, seems like a good fit to carry on De Zerbi's work if/when he goes to City.

    [News] Hamas/Gaza/Israel

Remarkable how Iran can manipulate the entire world so easily. Goal: Prevent Saudi Arabia and Israel normalising relations and making the middle east safer. ---> Fund Hamas and plan huge terror attack ---> Wait for Israel to total Gaza in revenge ---> Profit from Muslims around the world's outrage

Anyone watching? 1-0 City but the Brazilians are playing great, have 65% possession. Could see their manager being the next Brighton coach!
