Is having 'personality' a good thing when teaching? it certainly can be, but it also means teachers have favourites, make judgements, deliver learning inconsistently and do all sorts of other perfectly understandable human things.
Id argue that adaptability might be more valuable, understanding...
The biggest worry with AI, and its common to most emerging tech, is that there is no legislative framework for it, so currently there are a lot of ethical and moral issues that are unresolved.
Right now though, its saving me loads of time, making me more productive and better prepared.
Why would any AI technology be worrying? Now or in the future
Im all for the Iain M. Banks version of a socialist utopia. Hydrogen + Automation + AI and we can all live lives of leisure for all eternity.
What could possibly go wrong!
Intelligence as a concept is a many faceted thing, with multiple definitions and theories.
Certainly, there is a n argument that the latest AI's like ChatGPT have met the conditions of the Turing test: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turing_test
GPT also has much better memory recall than...
I can’t help but love the unpredictability of potters line ups.
Just when you think the line up has settled….4 games with 1 change….
He goes and hits the randomise button.
Hope it works, could go either way!
Take the piss out of the copy writer.
Take the piss out of him for approving the copy.
Taking the piss out of that is richly deserved, it’s like he got a high pressure sales recruiter to write it.
But taking the piss out of the footballer or the career choices is unnecessary.
With a few...
Which would be a great reason for Corbyn to NOT launch as an independent or new party.
Imagine a party (Labour) thats so busy infighting with itself like the people front of Judea / Popular People front, that they are unable to see off a corrupt, nepotistic, negligent, inept ruling party...
I know it’s palarce, which is obviously great fun. But I can’t help but feel for keepers.
Imagine what he’s got to endure for 75 odd mins.
You can already hear the millwall fans annihilating him.
I always had a feeling he didn’t really enjoy being as good at football as he was.
Brave decision and best of luck.
In old money I think you would describe him as a cultured player.
I do worry about Lukaku vs Burn and Velts but Burn was MOM in several media outlets after Brentford.
To be honest, I worry about Lukaku vs anyone!
Weibo only just back and being saved for Everton, which offers a much better chance for a clean sheet.
Before commenting…some personal facts
I’m double jabbed, had my booster on 23rd but got a positive result on Christmas bloody day, despite being really careful in the run up as I really wanted to see my family this year.
I’m pretty ill, but not as bad as flu.
I’m asthmatic and last time I got...
Don’t disagree, he may well be able to handle superstar players, along with their egos (and agents!), but that would be my question mark if I was on the board of the biggest of clubs.
It’s such a strange position to be in as a supporter though. Deep down you know he is good and most likely the...
I think that with his man management and communication skills he could really achieve a lot, but it’s unlikely it will happen with us.
I hate saying that, I really do, but money talks and we just have a lot less of it.
One question mark I do have is could he manage egos the size of Pogba...
Tonight I thought the crowd stayed behind the team. I heard no boos. I heard frustration, from myself included, but there was a general feeling of we need to support the deprecated team.
I do confess though that I wonder where the next win is coming from. But I’ve felt that way a lot over the...
My observations would be:
When the team executes what GPott wants them too, it’s the best football I’ve seen in sussex in my 44 years.
The problem is that this only happens in fleeting moments in a league with defences that are pretty much all excellent.
Tonight, I just couldn’t see our...
